Job Summary:
The Assistant Clinic Director of Physical Therapy supports clinic leadership in managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative team environment. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to achieving high-quality patient and business outcomes. The Assistant Clinic Director maintains a full and productive caseload while ensuring exceptional patient care and performing management duties. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the Assistant Clinic Director utilizes tools like Prediction Health to enhance clinic productivity and coding compliance, while promoting CPTE's mission through community involvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Staff Management
- Manages and supervises clinical and administrative staff, including physical therapists, assistants, techs/aides, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and front office personnel.
- Participates in the hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- Conducts annual staff performance reviews, provides ongoing feedback, and mentors staff for high performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture through mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Prepares and leads regular clinic staff meetings, maintaining an open-door policy for staff input and addressing concerns.
- Patient Care
- Maintains a full and productive caseload while delivering high-quality, individualized patient care.
- Develops and oversees treatment plans, monitors patient progress, and ensures evidence-based best practices.
- Engages with patients to address any concerns or feedback, coordinating with leadership to resolve issues when necessary.
- Ensures all patient care and documentation comply with CPTE's policies and participates in quarterly chart reviews for quality assurance.
- Analyze patient feedback and clinical outcomes to drive continuous improvements in care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and referral sources to enhance patient experiences and promote clinic services.
- Administrative
- Assures compliance with CPTE's Policy and Procedure Manual for all patient documentation and care.
- Utilizes tools such as Prediction Health to enhance clinic productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure accurate coding.
- Supports long-term staffing and schedule adjustments to align with clinic needs.
- Reviews and follows up on incidents involving patients, visitors, or staff, ensuring proper communication and resolution.
- Support financial management activities, including budgeting and resource allocation, to optimize business performance.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives aimed at driving growth and enhancing overall clinic success.
- Clinic Operations and Management
- Fosters a welcoming, professional environment for patients, staff, healthcare providers, and visitors.
- Manages clinic schedules in collaboration with the QA Director and Regional Manager, prioritizing patient convenience and therapy frequency.
- Monitors and maintains clinic equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness to support a safe treatment environment.
- Tracks clinic performance metrics (KPIs), prepares weekly reports on visits, units per visit, and arrival/cancellation rates.
- Actively participates in community outreach, marketing, and program development, promoting CPTE's mission and engaging with local events and initiatives.
