O Bee Credit Union is looking for a full-time Assistant Branch Manager. This is a full-time positions with 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:45 and 6:15. As Assistant Branch Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with the daily operation of the credit union branch by following established credit union policies and procedures. The primary responsibility for this position will be to provide knowledge, coaching, and leadership in the operational area of member services, loans, and quality service to members and employees.
Principles/Accountabilities
- Directly supervise and develop employees in the branch and maintain a highly motivated and well trained team
- Lead your team to fosters diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace
- Open new accounts and introduce members to a variety of products and services that will improve their financial well-being
- Complete loan applications for personal loans, credit cards, vehicle loans and home equity lines of credit to closing and funding
- Complete complex transactions and handle team member escalations
- Coach branch staff on policies and procedures
- Provide assistance in resolving member issues and complaints by performing research and follow-up with members
- Knowledgeable in all position functions in order to assist members when necessary
- Assist with cash orders, balancing of vault, perform periodic audit of cash drawers, TCR's and vault, and enforce branch controls over credit union assets
- Knowledgeable in all credit union products and services
- Recommends process improvements for internal/external use in order to streamline or reduce cost
- Ensure members consistently receive world class member service
- Assist in recruitment, hiring and onboarding of new branch team members
- Act as lead in other branch offices as requested by operations management
- Eligible be registered with NMLS and pass all courses required to maintain the designation
Performs other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
- Must have at least 2 years of credit union or banking experience
- At least 1 year in a supervisory position preferred
- At least 1 year new account and lending experience preferred
- Must be able to register with the National Mortgage Lending System and Registry (NMLS)
