Baking Responsibilities and requirements
Requirements
- Able to work 8+ hours in one day
- Capable to stand on your feet 8+ hours in on day
- Reliable transportation to able to come to work by 5 am or earlier
- Physically able to left 75 lbs off the floor on to a table
- Keep and maintain and clean and efficient working area
- Be able to work in hot conditions including placing bread in an oven
Responsibilities
- Arrive early enough to make sure working station is cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Count sandwiches sold for the current day and including shapes
- Stock and rotate all bakery items including but not limited to
- eggs, flour, sugar, yeast, bread, spices, garlic butter and cinnamon butter
- produce 16 + trays of bread in a 8 hour shift
- mix butter and grind provel when ask to do so by a Manager in charge
- 6 loafs of bread on a tray, 12 trays per rack
- Bakery must be cleaned and all bread must be stacked before leaving
- Oven and proofer must be turned off
- Mixer and all equipment must be wiped down
- All ingredients must be stocked and rotated and put away for next use
Bakery should be left cleaned and organized
Baker must ask a manager if the bakery can be closed
If baker is finished early may be asked to help in the kitchen or other stations as needed
