ROLE SUMMARY
Provide assistance to the Athletic Fields Groundskeeper and Director of Facilities for Regents School of Austin.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers.
Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
Athletic field painting.
Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
Gather and remove litter.
Clean and maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools.
Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, or other grounds features.
Set-up/take-down for events that may include tables, chairs, sound equipment, ect
Ensure a locked and secure campus
Able to work independently
Misc. duties as assigned

Required Experience:
SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Christian
Knowledge of irrigation systems helpful
High School Diploma / GED required
Valid Driver's License required
