Assistant Administrator
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Assistant Administrator to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Administrator to join our skilled nursing facility team. The Assistant Administrator will support the Nursing Home Administrator in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of resident care. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of services provided and fostering a positive environment for residents, their families, and staff.
Assistant AdministratorJob Duties:
· Assist the Administrator with managing the daily operations of the organization
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other state and federal regulations
· Manage budgets and finances, tracking expenses and verifying that all transactions are properly recorded
· Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
· Collaborate with the Administrator to develop and implement strategic plans for the organization
· Act as an advocate for the organization, promoting a positive image and building relationships with key stakeholders
· Provide support to the Administrator on special projects and initiatives as needed
· Guides Department Managers in the development and use of organization policies
· Ensures that the facility adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire, and sanitation codes
· Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
Assistant AdministratorRequirements:
· Oversee the daily operations of the organization.
· Work closely with the Administrator to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Assist Administrator in managing staff schedules and assignments, managing budgets and finances.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for residents.
The successful candidate will:
· Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license
· Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
· 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
