Assistant Accounting Manager or Sr. Accountant *Global Firm, Japan/USA $70-85k/y

Global Manufacturer is urgently seeking for the Assistant Accounting Manager or Sr. Accountant position for their Torrance, CA HQ Office

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum 3+ years' related work experience
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is a huge plus, but not required.
• Financial analytical assistance and oversight to accounting functions
• Prepare consolidation package for financial reporting
• Reconciliation of sub-Ledgers and general Ledger account balances for Inventory, A/R, A/P, etc.
• Quarterly audits/review if any and annual audits including SOX.
• Prepare reports on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis including support in the preparation of consolidation package

• Strong written, verbal and listening skills.
• Proficiency in PC skills especially Excel & software, Sage500 is a big plus.
• Team worker

This is a full-time, direct hire position with excellent corporate level benefits including medical (100% cover), dental, vision 401k (with matching) etc. Salary up to $70-85k/y (some possible generous yearly bonus)
