Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000

Position: Assistant Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Assistant Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting to join their team!

The role involves leading the defined contribution plan accounting, overseeing budget and financial allocations, and managing a team of skilled professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of defined contribution plan accounting, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintaining accurate financial reporting

• Manage budget transactions and monthly Combined Operating Fund (COF) allocation processes, including account analysis and reconciliations

• Prepare and review financial reports, including assigned sections of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Nine+ years of progressive general ledger accounting and/or auditing experience

• Two+ years of supervisory experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CPA licensure

• Experience with public pension, finance, or government accounting

• Proficiency with PeopleSoft Financials and nVision
