Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Asset Protection, the Asset Protection Business Analyst will be critical to the success of the growing and dynamic retail team at Vuori. The Asset Protection Business Analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of robust reporting and analysis of the asset protection department. Responsibilities will also include completing moderate to complex research to support the growth of the organization. This role requires a visionary, analytical, and detailed leader with a strong background in fraud, profit & loss management, risk analysis, and process mapping abilities to improve and enhance process and/or procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct through analysis of point-of-sale transactional data and other systems to identify patterns, trends, and exceptions for investigation of potential internal and external fraudulent activity.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data mining, monitoring, and analytics to improve existing strategies.
- Support with internal and external investigations, providing actionable data and offering investigative support using available resources and technologies, as directed.
- Responsible for generating reports for trend analysis, key performance indicators, field asset protection team performance summary. .
- Perform special projects or additional asset protection duties as requested by the Director of Asset Protection.
- Create presentation data for executive management.
- Liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Inventory teams.
- Collaborate with LPRC (Loss Prevention Research Counsil) and other retail partners to develop predictive analysis and practical solutions to challenges currently or evolving risk to the business.
- Participate in industry leading benchmarking surveys and explore quantitative data to assist with developing or evolving strategic priorities.
- Comfortable taking initiative and being resource/entrepreneurial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice. MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 Years of data analysis, reporting, and quantitative analysis.
- Previous experience developing business cases for executive management.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Previous experience utilizing exception-based reporting or fraud tool(s).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Power Point, & Power BI) programs is required.
- A hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and find opportunities to change processes to drive efficiencies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change and new processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively across several cross functional teams.
- Experience building processes in a high growth environment.
Additional Information
Pay Range: $90,000-110,000/yr
