We are seeking an experienced Asset Financial Manager to oversee the financial performance of the company’s real estate portfolio. This role involves monitoring assets, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with property managers and executive leadership to maximize returns and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in real estate financials, and a proven ability to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight of Assets:
- Monitor the financial performance, valuation, and operational efficiency of real estate assets to align with company goals and optimize return on investment.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and analyses, identifying risks and opportunities to enhance asset value.
- Property Financial Reporting:
- Review and analyze property managers’ financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Address discrepancies and support property managers in resolving financial issues related to asset performance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with property managers and internal teams to create and maintain asset-specific budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track financial performance against projections, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions to meet objectives.
- Capital Expenditure & Investor Reporting:
- Oversee capital expenditure budgets for asset improvements, ensuring timely project completion and accurate ROI calculations.
- Prepare and submit detailed investor reports, communicating asset performance and financial results effectively.
- Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Ensure asset management processes comply with company policies, GAAP/IFRS standards, and tax regulations.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, support audits, and prevent discrepancies in financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong knowledge of real estate asset management, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- 3 years of experience in similar role required.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency with accounting software and asset management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
