Manufacturing - Assembly Worker

(Compensation $13 per hour – 1^st Shift)

Position Purpose:

You will perform Assembly/Production work on one of our product lines.  This position is Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts in established sequence through established procedures
• Complete in-process inspections and communicate any violations
• Monitor process removing defective parts and communicate quality issues
• Responsible for completing production reports or documents Provide guidance to the leadership team as well as day-to-day supervision of the HR Team. 
• Adhere to safety requirements of the plant and advise of any safety concerns
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Maintain sufficient supplies to prevent line shut down
• Use appropriate professional communication

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred 
• Visual acuity (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect machined parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications
• Manual dexterity sufficient to handle small and large parts
• Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending
• Physical strength to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently
• Ability to produce precision work
• A positive attitude and a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mentality to get the job done.
