JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform system level functional and optical performance testing and troubleshooting on a variety of challenging surveillance/defense sub-assemblies and finished end-product camera systems.
- Test camera systems and critical sub-assembly components in accordance to manufacturing test specifications, (test instructions, test data sheets, functional ATP’s, optical alignment performance criteria and system discrepancy reporting).
- Interface with production team and technical support staff to maintain manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.
- Inspect and verify all daily work to ensure it is performed accurately and efficiently, according to all quality performance specifications.
- Interface with technical team to ensure all manufacturing test methods are standardized and documented to the latest versions.
- Support the maintenance of test fixtures and test equipment.
- As directed, provide support in test process improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- AS degree in electronics or technical equivalent with 3+ years related technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.
- Technical versatility: electrical, mechanical, optical alignment testing, IR testing experience a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills and proficiency with set up and usage of test and alignment equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in use of windows-based Office applications, optical test SFW and MES SFW for accessing digital work instructions, test data collection, traceability, reporting and communicating, preferred.
- Practical problem-solving skills.
- Attention to technical detail.
- Ability to communication clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaboration, teamwork, and ability to contribute independently.
