+ Climate-Controlled Environment: Work comfortably in a well-maintained setting What You’ll Do: As an Assembly Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting Cummins’ production. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Assembling and inspecting braking system components (e.g., cam brakes, ASA) using required tools, gauges, and equipment
+ Picking parts, following a kitting manual, and creating kits for the production areas in the plant
+ Maintaining inventory integrity with daily cycle counts and keeping detailed records
+ Monitoring quality and making necessary adjustments to keep products within specifications.
+ Maintaining a clean, organized work area and ensuring all equipment is safely locked out when not in use Key Skills & Requirements:
+ Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle automotive components of various sizes
+ Dependability, punctuality, a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
+ Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment Physical Demands:
+ Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
+ Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, reach, and handle objects
+ Close vision and focus adjustment required
