Title: Assembly Technician
Shift: 2nd Shift
Sign-on Bonus: $2,500
Status: Hourly
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: Tulsa, OK
Position Summary
The candidate will assist in the assembly of enclosure systems. This will require an entry level knowledge of welding to understand the assembly process and to assist in basic welding (15% of employee’s responsibilities).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate MIG welding machines
- Read blueprints
- Follow written and verbal work instructions
- Lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Read and interpret a basic tape measure
- Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
Qualifications:
- Experience welding in at least one of the following welding positions; flat, horizontal, or vertical
- Proficient with MIG welding using .045 wire and settings.
- Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.
- Some overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints( test will be required)
- Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Completion of program through a welding trade school
OR
- 1+ year of experience with industrial assembly and welding.

Specific Qualifications:
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check.
