JOB DESCRIPTION
Machine Operators operate machines and tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process. Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected. Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order. Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
General Assemblers are responsible for performing assembly work utilizing standardized procedures to produce quality medical devices in a controlled work environment. The work requires good manual dexterity, good vision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with others as a cohesive team.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Work with a team assembling medical devices (subassemblies or final assemblies)
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
- Prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.
- Promote and support safe working equipment.
- Clean room environment – no jewelry, makeup, acrylic nails or fuzzy sweaters
- Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processes.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
- Able to work in a controlled clean room environment.
- Able to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Non Smoking Facility or on Premise
- Drug Free Workplace
- Valid Driver License
- Reliable, Dependable and Strong Work Ethic
