Assembly Mechanics / Truck Builders - TERBERG TAYLOR AMERICAS MANUFACTURING LLC

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced and knowledgeable Assembly Mechanics / Truck Builders to join our team. The Assembly Mechanics / Truck Builders will be responsible for assembling components for Terberg Taylor's terminal trucks according to blueprint specifications.

Your Role

• Able to use all hand tools and power tools used in the assembly and manufacturing of heavy equipment.
• Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with manufacturing rules and operating procedures.
• Assembles components per work instructions and the instructions of the team leader.
• Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials.
• Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used in the work and keeps the work area clean.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve efficiency.
• Following instructions while taking initiative and not require continual supervision.
• Assist in cross functional work assignments as needed.
• Comply with company rules and safety practices.
• Mechanical ability with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• The ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Two or more years of experience assembling cars or trucks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications or certifications are a plus.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Steel Toe shoes required.
• Regular and reliable attendance; punctuality is essential.
