As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
- May assign, coordinate, and review portions of the work for support personnel, contractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems to deliver the product within specified cost and quality parameters.
- Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
- Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization. The role involves direct line support for production employees and communicating project progress to management.
- Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling is highly preferred.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, etc.) or 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- Assembly backgrounds and processes are highly preferred.
