Position Type: Full-time Contract, Contract to Hire

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Palm Bay, FL

As an Assembly, you will:

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
• Majority of the work will be circuit card Assembly/Soldering and Epoxy applications.
• A magnifying microscope may be required for certain circuit card soldering and epoxy applications.
• Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Overall Summary Fully proficient support individual contributor.
• Works under limited supervision.

Essential Functions:

• May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
• Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
• Nature of Supervision Works under limited supervision.
• Less detailed instructions are provided, and minimal peer review is required. Communication & Influence Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
• May be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.
• Innovation & Complexity Work may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
• Follows established processes to complete tasks.
• Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.

• Fully proficient job knowledge/skills including hands on J-STD-Class 3 skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $26-$28 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
