ASSEMBLER - Spherion

Job Summary:
Performs production assembly of mechanical and electromechanical component parts and or/upholstered parts.

Responsibilities:
Assemble various components using hand tools, air tools and measuring equipment ensuring that all specifications are being met to manufacture the highest quality product.
Analyze rejected product, communicating this with the Lead Assembler and assisting in the problem resolution.
Uses calibration and testing equipment effectively, ensuring that the product functions according to specifications.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in assembly
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with hand and power tools

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude
Understanding of safety
Ability to stand entire shift and lift up to 50lbs
