If you are interested in this role, Apply Today!Job Description:Primary Function:Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such asstandard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.Essential Functions: Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainerloading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding. Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds andpotting materials. Able to interface with customers if necessary. Follow intermediate drawings and procedures. Perform connector assemblies. Perform work with limited to no supervision. Train and assist Assembler 1s. Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts per work orderinstructions. Bond loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions. Bond interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work orderinstructions. Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions. Apply identification stamping to various components and assemblies. Paint components, as well as apply paint stripe markings to contacts. Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe workenvironment. Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area. Stage materials for shipment as required. Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires,terminate simple cables to connectors, and load and operate heat treat and annealingovens.Basic Qualifications: 1-2 years" experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ processspecifications, drawings, and work orders in English Ability to use calculators Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching,and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipmentbreakdown Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipmentbreakdown Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate partsRequired Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now andwithin the future. No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
