ASSEMBLER - Spherion

Now hiring for Assembler. Spherion of Rhode Island currently has Assembler opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Assembler will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The Assembler will support our customers for producing complete assemblies per API's, i.e. EFD dispensers, valves, tank reservoirs and their related sellable components. Mon thru Fri. - $18 per hour to start - depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Ensure labor efficiency meets established time standards.
Independently select parts, equipment, tooling, and materials required for assembly.
Utilize equipment, tooling, and materials appropriately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area consistently.
Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear such as safety glasses.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision.
Provide basic training to other team members as necessary.
Conduct various test functions using test equipment, meters, and mechanical/pneumatic devices.
Collaborate with Engineering on new product development initiatives.
Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
