Requirements: Assembler - 1st Shift
- US Citizenship
- Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Interim Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly
- Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
- Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills
- Active J-STD-001 Certification
- Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity. Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.
- They will also work on detailed soldering of components and assemblies per drawings and specifications.
- Under limited supervision, may use schematics, blueprints or sketches and verbal and written instructions to assemble, rework or re-assemble units.
- Installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.
- Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity
- Perform surface mount, fine pitch and through hole soldering
- Able to work with miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers and soldering irons
- Able to work with precision and follow standardized, existing procedures
- Able to attach wires to load cell tabs by following schematics or wiring diagrams
- Meet high criteria for quality and output on a regular basis
- Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment
- Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
- Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
