About the Job

CAPS Collaborative is looking for an enthusiastic ASL Interpreter to join our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs in Newton Public Schools. The role involves supporting students in inclusion classrooms and facilitating communication among deaf/hard of hearing students, their peers, and staff. Responsibilities include interpreting for meetings and events, tutoring, and participating in the educational team.

Candidate requirements:

Must meet MCDHH and DESE standards, including a minimum EIPA rating of 3.5.

Fluency in ASL and English.

Bachelor's degree and Interpreter Training Program completion preferred.

Experience in child development and education is a plus.
