Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year

Responsibilities:
As the Food Safety QA Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all quality assurance operations within our aseptic manufacturing environment.
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations such as those set by the FDA, SQF, and HACCP.
3. Implementing and managing the company's aseptic quality management system.
4. Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Leading investigations into any quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring effective resolution.
6. Monitoring and controlling the quality of raw materials and finished products using equipment such as pH meter, balances, and spectrophotometer.
7. Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement best practices for aseptic processing and packaging.
8. Training and mentoring staff on aseptic procedures, food safety, and quality control techniques.
9. Implementing and managing the company's ESL (Extended Shelf Life) program.
10. Utilizing HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) for the analysis of dairy products.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
2. Expertise in aseptic processing and packaging.
3. Proficiency in using lab equipment such as pH meter, balances, and spectrophotometer.
4. Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FDA, SQF, and HACCP.
5. Experience with ESL and HPLC.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
