Aruba Network Engineer - firstPRO, Inc

firstPRO is seeking an experienced Aruba Network Engineer to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Princeton, NJ, requiring a mix of remote and on-site work. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Aruba network technologies and configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Aruba network switches.
• Implement and maintain Aruba VSF (Virtual Switching Framework) and VSX (Virtual Switching Extension) technologies.
• Utilize advanced Aruba technologies such as colorless ports for efficient port management.
• Configure and deploy downloadable user roles for enhanced network security and access control.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the network infrastructure.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Aruba network switches (specific model experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring Aruba VSF and VSX technologies.
• Practical knowledge of colorless ports and their application in network environments.
• Experience with downloadable user roles in Aruba environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and documentation.
