Role : Aruba Clearpass certified Cisco Network Architect
Location: Houston, Texas 

Job Description:
As a Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining client's core network infrastructure. You'll leverage your expertise in network technologies and best practices to ensure our ever-growing network supports our business needs with optimal performance, scalability, and security. This role demands a keen understanding of network protocols, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate business objectives into robust network architectures.
Responsibilities:
•Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing network architectures across Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
•Select, configure, and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
•Analyze network traffic patterns and identify potential bottlenecks and performance issues.
•Implement network security measures to mitigate risks and ensure data protection.
•Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations.
•Document network configurations and procedures for future reference.
•Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
•Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry best practices.
•Collaborate with IT teams (security, operations, etc.) to ensure network alignment with overall IT strategy.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum 5+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and administration.
•Proven experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.), switching technologies (VLANs, QoS, etc.), and network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
•Demonstrating strong Cisco network operating systems exposure including but not limited to

Cisco ISE (Prioritize this skill)
Cisco Switching
Cisco Wireless
Palo Alto
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Aruba Clearpass (Prioritize this skill and must have a current Aruba Certification for Clearpass to ensure Aruba Support access)
Certifications (Preferred):
•CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent industry certification.
•Security certifications (Security+, CCNP Security) are a plus.
