About the Role
We are looking for a creative self-starter and skincare-obsessed Art Director to visually communicate our creative vision across campaigns, photoshoots, brand visual direction, and content platforms (web, social, email, retail merchandising). This role is instrumental in shaping how our brand looks and feels across all touchpoints, from large-scale Sephora launches to agile, high-impact social content. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and external creative partners to ensure our brand maintains a cohesive and compelling presence.
We know that how we visualize things is just as important as the message and words on paper.
What You'll Dieux:
- Concept campaigns and brand moments, bringing creative innovation, organization and excellence to all projects across all channels ensuring all creative and asset needs are met.
- Develop and execute on a cohesive digital design strategy in alignment with the brand's identity and values across all visual channels including (but not limited to) retail merchandising, packaging, social, site design, advertising, photography and video.
- Manage Sephora product pages, including the video/creator assets and ensure consistent brand representation on retailer site along with brand's owned and operated DTC channels.
- Lead and guide the visual aspects of all digital projects to ensure they are visually compelling and align with the brand's identity and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, VP of marketing and Brand team on new ideas and concepts that push the brand esthetics.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to peers on the creative team; foster a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, digital tools, and software to incorporate innovative elements into projects.
- Concept and oversee 360° brand campaigns for product launches, seasonal moments, and retail initiatives.
- Develop mood boards, creative decks, and campaign concepts that bring our storytelling to life.
- Work with contractors that touch on brand assets and visual representation.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across various digital touch points.
What You'll Bring:
- Enthusiasm for skincare :)
- 7 years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or a related field, with a portfolio that supports a range of experience of design concepts and execution.
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, digital art, or a related field.
- High proficiency in Adobe Suite programs and Figma.
- Strong creative thinking capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- A high attention to detail with the ability to keep digital assets organized.
- A record of being an effective and empowering creative leader.
- Prior people management experience, with an ability to mentor and inspire a small team.
- An ability to develop effective relationships and be a contributing team member and leader within the Creative team.
- An ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and quickly pivot when priorities shift.
- Effective communication skills and feedback skills, with an an ability to give, and receive feedback, and incorporate constructive creative feedback in a collaborative manner.
- An ability to work autonomously and provide self-direction.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, fashion or beauty brands preferred.
