Days:  Saturday & Sunday

Hours:  12hr shifts

Willapa Medical Clinic Job Duties:

• Provide medical supervision of the patients treated
• Accesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing examinations, obtaining and updating medical histories.
• Document patient care services in the EHR
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections, immunizations, suturing, managing wounds and infections
• Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests
• Refer patients to needed services that cannot be provided at the clinic
• Assure that adequate patient health records are maintained in the EHR
• Work collaboratively with staff
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and co-workers
• Able to assign tasks and /or delegate authority in an appropriate and effective manner
• Understands and maintains confidentiality in all patient and employee relationships
• Performs within the parameters of the license
• Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
• Cooperates with insurance carriers as requested in matters related to risk management and malpractice risk deduction
• Participate in quality control and chart review
• Follow clinic patient schedule
• Work collaboratively with the supervising physician and office manager
• Use a universal precautions approach in the delivery of information and education to all patients receiving care
