Part-Time Armed Security Officer - Tempe, AZ - $22.50/hr.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6am-2pm

Compensation: $22.50/hr. (Pay is reduced to 20.50 if Armed Training is not successfully completed in 60 days of hire)

We have an opening for a part-time Armed Security Officer (Day Shift) in Tempe, AZ. As a part-time Armed Security Officer (Day Shift), you will work with an outstanding group of security professionals who are dedicated to protecting Arizona's Power and Water Grid. In doing so, you'll monitor the status of the facilities and be on the lookout for any changes so that you may identify if something is out of the ordinary.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure operational efficiency of site by controlling access to critical infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
• Have a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, site-specific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all on-site.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public.
• Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software on-site (CCure alarm systems and CCTV programs).
• Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
• Handle sensitive information and material, and in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Armed Security Guard License in Arizona (We can help you with this!)
• Must possess a valid AZ unarmed Guard Card
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must complete our Armed Training Program
• One year of experience in contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide this training free of charge!)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
• Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• If you have military experience, must be able to provide a copy of DD-214.
