Armed Security Officer - Excelsior Defense

Excelsior Defense, a service-disabled veteran-owned leader in security services, is seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to join our growing guard force, we are recruiting highly trained and experienced Armed Guards. This high-security site demands excellence, professionalism, and a commitment to duty. **All Officer's must be cleared by completing a Government Background Check in order to be assigned to this site**

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and professional presence.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and maintaining strict compliance with security protocols.
• Conduct routine checks of rooms and secure areas to ensure compliance and detect potential security breaches.
• Maintain logs of visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related events.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel to ensure all safety and security requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in high-classified site security or a related field.
• Military or prior law enforcement background preferred.
• Valid Class D & G Security Licenses issued by the State of Florida.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistency.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
