Trust Consulting Services is lookingto hire a Security Supervisor to support TCS Security Armed securityguard contracts. The Security Supervisor will oversee facility securityto protect all company assets. The Security Supervisor may also manage and/orimplement security protocols related to the storage of confidential informationand documents. The Security Supervisor oversees the daily workflow, schedules,and assignments of security staff including security guards. The Security Supervisorwill prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff includingtraining on workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and related safetyand security topics.
Responsibilities:
- Provides and/or implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
- Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards.

- Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
- Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records.
- Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
- Where government projects are involved, it serves as a liaison to government agencies concerning project security; assists with security clearance processing for employees working on government classified programs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must be US Citizen or legal resident
- Must be able to pass Criminal History Background Check and drug screening
- Must possess current and valid driver's license
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must have verifiable employment references Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
- Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of related security experience required.
- Must have current Security Guard license for MD, DC, and Virginia (Mandatory)
- Must have HQL handgun permit
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to walk/stand / and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to traverse various areas of the facility to conduct inspections and plan security procedures.
Hourly Rate: $18.00
Shifts:Saturday and Sunday
2:00pm-10:00 pm
10:00pm-6:00 am
