A GLIMPSE AS OUR AREA SALES MANAGER - TERRITORY MANAGER
As our Area Sales Manager - Territory Manager, your role involves empowering and guiding your team, dedicated to their growth and success. You collaborate with account managers to fortify customer relationships and drive innovative solutions, ensuring the consistent execution of the sales process. Your leadership extends to overseeing sales team staffing and recruitment while championing adherence to department processes and sharing best practices across the organization. Your collaboration with the VP of Sales and Regional Manager sets the path for achieving sales goals, market share, and financial objectives. Your expertise in agricultural equipment drives you to appraise used equipment and craft sales plans for Production Ag Account Managers. Additionally, you remain vigilant of competitor activity, stay informed about incentive programs, and provide unwavering support for Integrated Solutions, including agronomic decision support and machine optimization.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Knowledge of current agricultural issues
- Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Ability to motivate others through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and modeling
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
- Highly analytical with great problem-solving skills
Having 3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in agricultural farm equipment or a related field is preferred but not required. A bachelor's degree in business or an agriculture field is a plus! Our ideal Area Sales Manager - Territory Manager also has the willingness to mentor inexperienced candidates.
