Job Details
Duties:
- Provide strong leadership and effective management to the teams.
- Delegate tasks, foster collaboration, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Contribute to departmental strategy development and execute plans efficiently.
- Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to drive growth and improvement.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and monitor performance metrics.
- Implement best practices and SOPs to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Mentor team members, identify training needs, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and mitigate risks proactively.
- Foster a culture of innovation, solicit feedback, and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- Doctorate: Hold a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Licensure: Possess an active veterinary license, current DEA and controlled substance licenses, and USDA Category Accreditation (or obtain within two months of hire).
- Surgical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia and routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals for dogs and cats.
- Empathy: Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in emotional or stressful situations.
