About the Job
Position Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, Area Managers will serve as the point of contact in multiple accounts and provide direction to personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and retain employees at their designated locations
- Communicate job expectations, monitor, coach, develop and train / retain employees
- Enforcement of policies, procedures and productivity standards
- Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, service and operations information. Identify and evaluate trends / choose a course of action / define objectives and evaluate outcomes
- Build and cultivate employee morale, motivation, loyalty and retention
- Measure performance compliance and requirements to meet scorecard objectives at or above designated levels
- Manages allocated daily budgeted hours vs actual hours worked. Monitor daily staffing needs in all assigned locations, as well as overtime control, absences, turnover and relocation of employee resources as needed
- Participates in employee concerns: reporting, follow up, investigation and disciplinary processes as needed. Must display the ability to apply solutions to resolve issues and/or manage conflict.
- Must be capable of displaying effective time management skills
- Attend and participate in Daily Area Manager 4pm Meeting
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- Prior Management Experience - coaching, mentoring and training others
