Job Summary
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing multi-unit operations, a constant focus on team member development, coaching and training while overseeing day to day operations in a fast-paced environment. This position focuses on day-to-day continuous improvement of all operations, client relations and strategic and tactical functions to maximize operational effectiveness while delivering excellence in service delivery as the industry leader.
Essential Responsibilities
- Understand and drive business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, high performance, and compliance.
- Demonstrate the ability to positively move the metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, guest service and turnover.
- Manage scheduling, overtime for associates under his/her direct supervision, tip reporting and timekeeping.
- Ensure that forecasts, payroll, and accounting reports are on time and accurate.
- Effectively utilizes standardized business systems as developed by Evolution and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Actively engage in the recruitment and hiring processes to ensure the best people are selected for the location.
- Ensure new associates get off to the right start through proper orientation and on-the-job training.
- Recognize great performance and provides opportunities for top performers to learn and grow.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching for all direct reports.
- Works with the Talent Acquisition team to forecast and plan for seasonal variances in business to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Understand the client’s service standards and effectively integrates Evolution Parking and Guest Services’ standards to complement them.
- Develop cohesive working relationships with the client’s staff members.
- Understand what objectives are important to the client and ensures the entire team is focused on exceeding expectations.
- Treat clients and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to associate and client information.
- Practice preventative safety procedures as set forth by Evolution.
- Ensure all associates have been adequately trained in safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Consistently follows the progressive disciplinary process to hold associates accountable for at-fault claims and safety violations.
- Adhere to Evolution Parking and Guest Services’ employment and payroll policies and procedures to limit exposure to employment claims and litigation.
- Ability to maintain stability, dependability and professionalism when faced with changing and difficult situations.
- Identify high performing team members for Crescendo Academy and Crescendo Leadership developmental Programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required
- Associates Degree, High School Diploma or GED required, or relevant working experience.
- Understanding of general business practices including accounting, human resources, and customer service.
Minimum Experience Required
- Experience in valet parking.
- Valid US Drivers License.
- 2+ years in a management position.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, such as ADP.
- Experience with Customer Service.

- Strong technology proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
