Are you agile and passionate about hospitality and great people?
As an Area General Manager for one our longest standing corporate clients, you’ll be able to build on your passion for hospitality with a dynamic team and incredible guests in Buffalo, NY. The Area General Manager of Food will lead a team of 10 managers, and 5 Executive Chefs. Travel will be required since this role will have oversight of 6 sites in the Buffalo/Niagara region, 2 sites in Delaware, 1 site in Maryland, and 1 site in Connecticut.
What you’ll do:
- Manage food operations, including café dining and catering.
- Ensure proper execution of high-quality catering ranging from continental breakfast to plated dining events.
- Work with our onsite client to achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
- Develop and maintain high level client and customer relationships.
- motivate, coach, mentor, and develop management staff.
- Ensure that Sodexo standards are met including, compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience with multiple unit or foodservice operations.
- Proven track record of managing and developing managers.
- Demonstrated experience with managing P&L statements
- Ability to interact face to face on a regular basis with clients and customers.
- Experience with B2B Food Management companies is a plus.
