Job Summary:

As a Regional Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities within your designated region. Working closely with the Regional Vice President and Area Directors, you'll ensure financial integrity and support the overall success of our operations. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within the specified region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Foster strong relationships with Regional Vice Presidents and Area Directors to optimize profitability and meet budget goals.
- Serve as the financial expert for on-site operations teams, providing support in areas such as monthly and fiscal closings, audit reporting, and inventory management.
- Conduct regular analysis of P&L statements and balance sheet activities for the region, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Division Controller to address financial gaps and implement solutions.
- Facilitate seamless communication between field operators and corporate partners to ensure smooth transactions.
- Partner with regional leadership to identify and address financial risks and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a four-year College or University.
- Three to five years of experience in finance or accounting; previous experience in a K-12 education setting is desirable.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial reports and contracts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to travel approximately 10%-20% for the position.
