We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Staff member to join our dynamic engineering team. As an integral part of our team, you will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase right through to completion, focusing on multifamily residential buildings. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative and sustainable architectural designs, while also playing a key role in shaping the built environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop architectural designs for multifamily residential buildings, ensuring they meet client specifications and adhere to local building codes and regulations.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions.
3. Prepare and present design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and design review boards.
4. Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Participate in all phases of the project, from conceptual design to construction administration.
6. Utilize 3D modeling software to create architectural models and renderings.
7. Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with the architectural design.
8. Continuously update knowledge of current trends, practices, and regulations in the architectural and engineering industry.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a focus on multifamily residential buildings.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
5. Exceptional design and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
8. A creative problem solver with a strong ability to think critically and innovatively.
9. A team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
10. Professional registration as an Architect is preferred.
11. LEED accreditation or a commitment to sustainable design is a plus.
