Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Take ownership and responsibility of all aspects of architectural projects from inception to completion, providing leadership and direction to project teams and owners.
Capable of communicating design ideas using sketches, and computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) with the development team and owners.
Prepares presentations and produce documents through to the construction phase.
Collaborate with design teams to ensure that architectural designs align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
Develops designs in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
Compiles materials associated with the development of the Project (i.e. material samples and specifications).
Coordinates and maintains project files including correspondence, drawings, and other relevant materials associated with projects.
Manages construction administration, in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples.
Provides support to office team and management staff.
Communicate with clients and contractors as required.
Coordinates with project related sub-consultants.
Managing staff and a Book of Business
REQUIREMENTS
Strong Leadership skillset to organize and collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams.
Willingness to make timely decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgement, support and explain reasoning for decisions and include appropriate people in decision making process.
Strong knowledge of Building, Life Safety, and Zoning Codes.
Experience working on Institutional projects.
Complete knowledge of construction document standards.
Experience in adaptive reuse, building renovation, and expansion required.
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
15 +years of experience
Strong Presentation and Presentation Development Skills
AutoCAD and Revit knowledge and experience required, strong design, computer, technical and graphic skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task.
Strong knowledge of contracts (Owner and subconsultant), development and management for compliance.
Ability to develop and negotiate proposals.
Understanding of Project Accounting, forecasting and budget development.
