We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our innovative Engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers you a chance to play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of various architectural projects, with a particular focus on K-12 educational facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior design, education, and educational architecture, and will be expected to leverage this expertise to deliver exceptional results on all projects.
Responsibilities
As an Architectural Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects, with a primary focus on K-12 educational facilities.
2. Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, develop designs, and oversee project implementation.
3. Utilizing your expertise in interior design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet client needs and comply with all relevant regulations.
4. Preparing and presenting project proposals, designs, and technical reports to clients and stakeholders.
5. Overseeing the project lifecycle, including project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
6. Ensuring all architectural projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
7. Resolving any project-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
8. Staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and project management.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Architectural Project Manager position, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in architectural project management, with a specific focus on K-12 educational facilities.
3. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
4. Strong knowledge of interior design principles and practices.
5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. A professional certification in project management or a related field would be an added advantage.
8. A deep understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards related to architectural design.
9. Proven ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
10. A passion for creating innovative and functional architectural designs that enhance the educational experience for K-12 students.
