ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT COORDINATOR

As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the successful completion of your assigned projects with a high level of client satisfaction. In addition, you will interface regularly with our Principal, Senior Leadership, Project Manager, Project Architects, Clients, Project Coordinators, and external consulting team. SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator actively participates in design, drawing production and site visits under the direction of the Project Manager (PM) or Project Lead. This role integrates project information and prepares coordinated documents with input from the PM and can act as Project Leader for small or routine projects.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Manage, review, and contribute to the production of design, modeling, permit, and construction documents, including revisions.
- Coordinate details, dimensions, drawings, presentations, and specifications per the direction provided by the Project Lead.
- Communicate with clients and contractors, attend meetings, perform field survey assignments and construction administration duties as assigned by the Project Lead.
- Collaborate closely with project team members to obtain project information and ensure that drawings are accurate and complete.
SECONDARY FUNCTION:
- Diligent adherence to project processes, deadlines, milestones, and profitability goals as established by Studio ARQ
- Communicate methods to improve project process to the team leader and report any issues or discrepancies that may affect project quality, schedule, or profitability
- Self-assess and inform the team of availability/capacity, demonstrate organizational skills and self-motivation
- Have a passion for developing presentations and a desire to participate in client meetings
SOFTWARE AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: A professional degree in Architecture, Planning or Engineering
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and CAD; proficiency with visualization, 3D modeling, animation tools, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
- Professional: 3 5 years of project experience in an architectural practice, construction management or related industry field
- Proactive and effective communicator: excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with teams and clients.
- Highly organized: plan and prioritize work assignments and demonstrate ability to manage concurrent assignments with different teams.
- Previous experience in Municipal, Healthcare and Aviation sectors is preferred.
Time Allotment
- 90% project related
- 10% administrative
Physical Demands
This position will require local travel to all project and client locations with remote, main office and onsite workdays applicable.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Hybrid work environment with in-office work on Tuesday through Thursday and work form home on Monday and Friday
- Dress attire is Business Casual
- Office is located near Chinatown at 329 W 18

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Managing Director. The FSLA Status of this position is Exempt.
