Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 7-10+ years

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000/yr.

Role Description:

As an Architectural Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and execution of our projects from concept design through to completion. Your expertise will drive the creation of unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that exceed client expectations. Working closely with our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the success of our projects by providing innovative design solutions, technical expertise, and leadership throughout all phases of the architectural process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead our small design teams through the design process for multiple projects, including the development of concepts, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Provide code compliance verification for projects including NYS building code, energy code, and local zoning laws.
• Collaborate with construction project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity, functionality, and constructibility.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather information and inform design decisions.
•  Prepare pre-construction documents including outline specifications, scope summaries, and project estimates.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members, provide support and foster their professional development.
• Oversee construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, conducting site visits, and addressing field inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed architect with 7-10+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficiency in Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating experience in residential, and light commercial projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
• Experience with Design Build projects is preferred but not required.
