Job Title: Architectural Lighting Project Manager

Job Summary: The unique department is growing with the need for a talented and experienced Architectural Lighting Project Manager who has a strong background in Architectural Lighting project management experience with a strong focus on managing innovative and sustainable lighting solutions for a variety of architectural projects while working closely with architects, interior designers, and engineers in developing lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of spaces. The position is in-office located in North Miami with some local area travel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage projects through the entire architectural lighting project cycle from sales opportunities through to construction completion.
- Provide lighting reflected ceiling plan take-offs and creation of bill of materials.
- Light fixture manufacturer products research, evaluation, estimates, quotations, sales orders and product shop drawings management.
- Project initial billing, progress billing & invoicing coordination.
- Project coordination with external key stakeholder project managers.
- Project kickoff meeting coordination and technical design liaison.
- Light fixture warehouse order receiving, stocking, staging, delivery and stock inventory coordination.
- Project schedule creation and management.
- Project change order creation and management.
- Project work orders & tasks creation and Architectural Lighting Field Technician scheduling.
- Project local site visits to support the Architectural Lighting Field Technician as required.
- Provide functional backup support to the Senior Architectural Lighting Designers and Architectural Lighting Applications Engineers as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing lighting projects in commercial & residential environments from sales, design through to construction completion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with architectural lighting methods, options and controls is a plus.
- Ability to read & understand blueprints.
- Excellent written & verbal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree or other in Lighting Design, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
