We are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing design concepts, development, and construction documents for approval and construction. This position requires a high level of creativity, technical expertise, and an eye for detail. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for design, an understanding of project timelines, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed architectural designs for construction projects using software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
2. Develop and design concepts for structures and spaces, and create visual representations for clients to review.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project design alignment with overall project goals and requirements.
4. Review project timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
5. Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and specifications for clients and stakeholders.
6. Understand and apply building code concepts to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
7. Participate in site visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure alignment with design.
8. Continually research and implement new design concepts, materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
4. Strong understanding of building code concepts and ability to apply them to design.
5. Proven experience in preparing design, development, and construction documents for approval and construction.
6. Excellent project and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to review project timelines and deliver on time.
7. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
8. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
9. Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
10. Professional portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and projects.
