Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI's Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places' capabilities, and CRTKL's multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.
Arcadis New York office is looking for an Experience Project manager to join our Retail Stores team with involvement on Luxury Retail projects. In this role, you will work on various accounts, managing staff & client relationships.

Role accountabilities:
- Production of technical drawings and details for Design Development and Construction Document phases of projects
- Work on multiple projects at the same time and/or lead team to complete each project
- Working directly with client and team to effectively deliver projects, responsible for communication to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements
- Manage projects, project schedules, client expectations and project fees
- Advanced level of technical skills
- Strong consulting skills, including project management and client relationship management at senior management level
- Able to put together a design project, including program conceptual design, design development, construction documents, and detailing and specifications on a small, straightforward project
- Able to complete construction estimates on cost of labor and materials
- Mentor and coach others, may have emerging line management responsibilities
- Assign tasks to lower-level architects
- Responsible for team on project basis
- Beginning to manage on a project basis
- Beginning involvement in marketing and proposals
- Knowledge of building codes and zoning bylaws
- Analyze parts of the bid solicitation project requirements, and gather and assess information related to the feasibility of these requirements for the organization. Processes submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFI.
- Manage the production of, and quality assure, analysis and design and the associated documentation and reports; ensure these meet or exceed client expectations and Arcadis quality standards and comply with national or local standards and codes of practice
- Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members and external resources, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues
- Monitor the commercial performance of the project and take remedial action where necessary (project management)
- Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution
Qualifications & Experience:
- Architecture degree
- 10 years of professional experience
- Retail & luxury interiors experience required
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Sketchup, Rhino or Grasshopper knowledge would be a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- U.S. architectural license preferred
