- Collaborate with the design team and clients from Schematic Design to Construction Documents.
- Measure existing homes and create accurate 'as-built' models.
- Engage with clients to discuss design considerations and incorporate feedback.
- Create conceptual and schematic models/drawings for client review.
- Develop detailed construction documents for permitting and coordinate with local building departments.
- Stay proficient in CAD modeling platforms, including Revit, Chief Architect, and other CAD platforms, and embrace learning new software.
- Ensure adherence to residential design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules and delivering high-quality work.
- Must be open to working within our proven system to design high-quality renovations that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
- Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Experience: 5-8 years of verifiable experience in residential wood-frame construction (remodeling experience preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software (Revit, Chief Architect, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of residential design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills, a great attitude, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Portfolios are a plus.
