Position: Architectural Design Senior Specialist
Location: Long Island City, Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced and creative architect to lead retail store design projects for luxury business partners. This hybrid position ensures successful project execution by integrating global store design concepts into the U.S. market while fostering collaboration with international teams, business partners, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership, design expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills. Experience in the luxury industry is preferred, but candidates with backgrounds in high-end residential or hospitality design are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed architect preferred, but not required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Exceptional design abilities, including hand sketching, detailing, and 3D thinking.
• Mastery of BIM technology, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
• Proven experience in retail design, in-house brand studios, or as a store designer.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control.
• Expertise in materials, construction techniques, building systems, and codes.
• Effective communicator with architects, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Adept in project management platforms (e.g., Airtable, Monday).
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Fluency in French is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to conceptualize spatial designs and create compelling architectural propositions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Understanding of sustainability principles and their application in design.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $145,000 annually (up to $150,000 for exceptional candidates).
