Job Details
We are currently seeking a creative, highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our well-established and growing team! This exciting role requires an individual with a strong background in architectural building design, a keen eye for creativity, and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, ranging from civic and educational to commercial and scientific. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in all stages of the architectural process, from initial concept development to the final construction phase!
Responsibilities
As an Architectural Designer, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Develop and present project proposals, including concept designs, 3D models, and detailed plans using Revit and other design software.
2. Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including blueprints and specifications.
3. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet all relevant building regulations and codes.
4. Participate in all phases of the project, from initial client consultation to final project completion, ensuring that all designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
5. Stay updated with the latest architectural trends and advancements, incorporating them into designs where appropriate.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with education, civic, science / lab, or commercial projects.
2. A Master’s degree in Architecture is preferred.
3. Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software.
4. Extensive experience in preparing construction documents.
5. A solid understanding of building architecture, including knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design and construction issues effectively.
8. A keen eye for design, with the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently when required.
10. A passion for architecture and design, with a commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
