The Architect will be responsible for the following items: + Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations + Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables + Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups + Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required + Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets + May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project + May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel + May review and approve conceptual designs + Review and enforce specifications in construction administration + May assist in the development of new architectural methods and techniques + Field construction administration support to observe construction, produce field reports and benchmark systems and construction + Under direction of the Supervising Architect, check and coordinate shop drawings for conformance with field conditions and design documentation **AECOM’s Buildings + Places** practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture. Our teams have worked on signature projects such as the London 2012 Olympic Park and Legacy Framework, to the new plan for the LA2028 Olympics, to industrial facilities for GE and Rolls-Royce, to headquarters and workplaces for NASA, Unilever, Sony Music, DirecTV, Box, Inc., and many Fortune 500 companies. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS in Architecture or equivalent degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Project production experience, standards and regulations + Detailing experience + Experience with building codes + Experience with transportation and aviation architecture project reviews of design and construction documentation + Revit, BIM 360, Navis/Glue expertise required + **Preferred Qualifications** + Licensed as a registered Architect + Aviation and Transit experience + NCARB accreditation + LEED Accredited Professional + Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis + Work efficiently and effectively within a team environment **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this role + Visa Sponsorship is available for this role + All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines \#LI-SG1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
