We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architect to join our progressive Engineering team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both Commercial and Residential Architecture, with an emphasis on innovative architectural design. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our cutting-edge projects, working alongside a team of talented professionals in a vibrant and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Architect, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Designing and overseeing the implementation of architectural projects from conception to completion.
2. Creating detailed blueprints and technical documents using CAD software.
3. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners, and designers on project development.
4. Meeting with clients to discuss project objectives, needs, and budget.
5. Conducting research and staying up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and regulations.
6. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
7. Presenting design proposals to clients, engineers, and project managers.
8. Addressing any problems or setbacks during construction, ensuring that the project is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Collaborating with construction contractors to monitor the progress of projects.
10. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with specific standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial and residential architecture.
3. Proficiency in architectural software programs, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4. A strong portfolio showcasing innovative architectural design.
5. Exceptional design and drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and project management skills.
7. A thorough understanding of architectural building codes, rules, and regulations.
8. The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design challenges.
10. Professional registration as an Architect is preferred but not mandatory.
