JD ARCADE & GAMES TECHNICIAN
FULL-TIME – HOURLY
Base Wages for this Position: $25-30/hr starting pay.
Base hourly expectations each week: 40 hours
The ideal candidate must possess the following
Desire to work for a growing, sustainable and progressive company, possessing a respectful and positive disposition, ability to prioritize tasks, remain focused, work independently as well as collaboratively. An ability to write, speak and carry oneself professionally. A working knowledge of email communication, Slack, MS Word, Toast POS, Google Docs, Excel, Homebase, and any other digital communication tools is helpful. Have the ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours, and be able to lift at least 40 pounds. Be able to ask for help when needed, be flexible and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure. Attention to all details, including timeliness, and a high regard for any duties related to this position.
Key Duties
Maintain existing electronic & mechanical games at Can Can Wonderland
Regular off-hours maintenance of all games
Repairing and replacing games need-be during open hours
Keep detailed list of games on floor and in service
Order parts and organize repairs
Regular cleaning of games/ machines
Key Skills
Experience assembling & disassembling mechanical components
Experience with electrical components and repair including soldering, multimeters measurement, crt & digital displays, motors, etc.
Ability to use logical troubleshooting.
Full understanding of the electric and electronics fundamentals of AC and DC, including resistors, capacitors, circuit boards, diodes, fuses, IC’s, relays, motors, and solenoids.
Must understand schematics and ladder diagrams.
Communication
Present a professional positive attitude among coworkers, and when meeting the public.
Attend weekly meetings as scheduled and communicate with other departments on arcade status & needs
Prepare weekly position summary report for General Manager & Director of Operations
Internal Organization
Maintain general system of organization for all tools, parts, games, and digital files
Manage the arrival and departure of new games into Can Can Wonderland
Miscellaneous tasks as needed
Human Resources
Maintain employee privacy at all times
Be aware of MN employment laws
Keep all SPB/ CCW information confidential, including internal documents, policies, procedures recipes, and customer/venue/vendor information
General knowledge of CCW/ SPB history, values, vision, etc.
Always promote CCW/ SPB in a positive light at the office and in the community
Understand that we work “weird hoursâ€, which include weekends, evenings, some holidays and sometimes longer than normal workdays
Be open to taking phone calls/emails during “off hoursâ€
